How it all started...
"The William Coalson family gifted land for Hayneville Baptist Church to be built,” the document said. “Joseph Tooke, considered to be the wealthiest man in Houston County at that time, donated the building materials for Hayneville Baptist Church.”
Expanding the vision...
Over the years, the church grew both in size and spirit, becoming a cornerstone of the Haynesville community. Through trials and triumphs, the congregation remained steadfast in their mission to spread the gospel and serve their neighbors. Today, as we celebrate 200 years of faith and fellowship, we honor the legacy of those early founders and look forward to continuing their work for generations to come.
