Our History - Founded in 1824 as Dry Creek Baptist Church, we are the first church established in Houston County, Georgia. Later called Hayneville Baptist Church and then First Baptist Church Haynesville, our church has been faithful as a witness to Jesus Christ for over 200 years, exerting an ongoing and positive influence on our community and beyond to Middle Georgia.
