Welcome to First Baptist Church Haynesville!
My name is Owen Bozeman, and it is my privilege to serve as interim pastor of  First Baptist Church.  Many of you may have known our former pastor, Dr. David Fisher, who served us for over 30 years until the Lord called him home.  We are all blessed to have known Bro. David as a faithful shepherd and expositor of God’s Word.  His are big shoes to fill.  Please pray for me as I serve for this season of time and as we pray and seek for God’s man to come and be our next pastor.
Meanwhile, the Lord has blessed this church to serve our community for over 200 years!  We are a more traditional church with lots of seasoning but looking to reach a new generation for Christ.  Won’t you come and join us on the journey?

A little about myself.  I began as interim on October 19 of last year and will continue to serve until we are able to call a new pastor.  My wife is Debbie and we have been married for 46 years, have two married children and four granddaughters.  We have lived in Middle Georgia for over 30 years.  I was the pastor of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins for 21 years and since “retirement” have been serving as an interim or transitional pastor at churches in Georgia.
First Baptist Church Haynesville is a loving and welcoming church. It is one of those special churches you can join and feel like you have been a part of all your life!  I love this church and I believe you will too.
Please join us in person for one of our worship services.  Whether Sunday morning or evening or Wednesday night, there is a place for every person of every age and stage.
I hope to see you soon.
Dr. Owen Bozeman, Interim Pastor
